Company profile of Heli Aviation GmbH

The Wallerstein aviation company Heli Aviation developed from Rainbow Helicopters GmbH, an established helicopter service company from Mainz-Finthen. The company can look back over 17 years’ experience of commercial flying. Under the new company name, the helicopter services are being expanded at further locations. They form the traditional mainstay of the three service areas.

The second area is the training and further training of prospective pilots, professional pilots and crews. The third segment is the development of helicopter technology in the form of accessories and mounts for helicopters. Because of the affiliation to the ohnhaeuser company group, these parts are also produced within the group.

The Wallerstein location

The ohnhaeuser company group is permanently linked to the Wallerstein site. The company later to become Ohnhäuser GmbH, from which the group of companies has developed over the past few years, was founded here as early as 1955.

A crucial advantage of the site is the direct proximity to the Nördlingen Airfield (EDNO) which is only 800 metres (air-line distance) away.
